At the recent South West Spine Meeting in Cheltenham, Dr Jonathan Hyde from Miami Beach presented his extensive experience of the AxiaLIF™ L5/S1 fusion.

The AxiaLIF™ is a pioneering and innovative, trans-sacral approach to lumbar surgery. A percutaneous access and fusion system enables lumbar fusion to be performed with complete preservation of the annulus and posterior elements. The company will be organizing a series of organized training sessions to introduce this new technique to UK spine surgeons. AxiaLIF™ is a Trans 1 product.
