Registrar Meeting in Association with Cardiff Spinal Unit

Scoliosis in the Young

 

On behalf of the Cardiff Spinal Unit, Surgi C are pleased to be organising the first Registrar Training Meeting, which is focusing on Scoliosis in the Young.

 

The meeting will be held on 18-19^th November 2010 at the Park Plaza Hotel, Cardiff and is open to all registrars and fellows across the UK. The meeting will be structured as below:

·         Thursday AM:    Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

·         Thursday PM:    Neuro Muscular Scoliosis

·         Friday AM:        Early Onset Scoliosis

 

All sessions will follow the following structure with aim to be as interactive as possible:

·         A lecture about the condition, including approaches etc.

·         Lecture and discussion about the evidence base.

·         Case based discussions that will encourage open discussion; to be lead by the delegates with support from the faculty.
