Surgi C’s 2nd Current Debates in Spinal Surgery

April 2010

Following the success of Surgi C’s first symposium ‘Current Debates in Spinal Surgery’, a second symposium is being held on 8-9th July at the Menzies Welcombe Hotel, Stratford upon Avon.

The symposium will be chaired by Mr Paul Rhys Davies and looks set to provide a forum for lively debate and discussion on a variety of topics, including;

·         Cervical trauma

·         Cervical injuries in sportsmen and how to deal with them

·         Thoracolumbar Trauma

·         Metastatic Spine Disease/NICE guidelines

·         Unusual trauma

·         Private practice and the changing economic climate

The debates and discussions will also be centred on the case studies that each delegate will bring with them. These case studies allow surgeons to use real examples for inviting feedback from their peers.

Speakers that have been confirmed so far are Prof Rauschning as a Key Note Speaker on Anatomy, where he will present his world renowned didactic slides. Mr Paul Rhys Davies will also be presenting throughout the 2 days.
